Christmas Is

Christmas is a happy time, I love the season so,
Evergreen trees, snowy scenes, holly and mistletoe.
Busy sidewalks in the town, there's music in the air,
Children laughing and playing 'round a snowman on the square.

What I like most of all and it always makes me smile,
God has shown this world his love through the birth of his child.
I love to see that manger scene and hear that Christmas song;
Glory to God in the highest, Christ the Lord is born.

Church bells and candlelight accents the season fine;
Reflecting back through history we celebrate the time.
